Understanding Characters

It was easy to talk about the characters because I looked in the book for the clues. I'm still learning to think about why characters are in the story.

Adding Tens and Ones

I t was a bit tricky for me to remember to break the numbers up into tens and ones. I added the tens first but I forgot to add the ones. I have to try and remember to add each part of the number.

Leaf Poem

I am learning to use wonderful describing words when I write a poem. I enjoyed writing this poem. I've used onomatopoeia words. I will try and use them again.

Character Inference

I have made a connection for the Best Pet. It was easy because I read the clues. I made an inference about Monty.  The next step is to make a connection in another chapter book.

Making a plan before I write

I am learning to make a plan before I write my story. I remembered what I did in the holidays and I put some of my ideas in my plan. It was easy and my story matches my plan. I will write a plan next time and think of words like next and after that.

On Sunday I went to rainbow's end

On the hot sunny day on the last day of school I went to rainbow's end I went with my family first I went on the gold rush, log flome, inflatable then the rollercoaster. Then I went to kidz kingdom. I went on the merry go round. Then I had a ice cream.
