My Pepeha

This is my Pepeha.  I have been learning to introduce myself using my pepeha.  We also made some art to display our Pepehas.

Number Squares Addition

I was learning to answer the questions.  I had to count on from the biggest number.  It was easy because the numbers were small.  The ones in the middle were harder because the numbers were bigger.   My next step is to practise working with bigger numbers.

Comparing with Characters

I was learning to compare Charlotte with my friend Riley.  It was easy because we were reading Charlotte's Web and I knew a lot about Charlotte.  My next step is to ask for help if I am finding things difficult.

Term 1 Week 8

Last week we made art there  were 4 triangels the first one was your house the secound triangle was your favroit, the third was your moutoin the last one was your owa witch is you river.

My African Praise Poem

My Reflection

I have been learning to write an African  praise poem  The best part of this was writing it because I haven't written these before. My next step to follow the steps of the poem correctly.

Term 1 Week 5

Last week we went to Te Tuhi. We made a tapa cloth. We felt some tapa cloth. The tapa we felt soft and smooth one was bummpy and the other one was flat.

Welcome to my year 4 learning blog.  This year I am in room 28/29 and my teachers are Mrs Graham and Mrs Melville.  I enjoy doing sports. This year I am looking forward to do more athletics.  I hope you will enjoy my blog and leave lots of feedback.
